Is the food bowl sometimes empty again like this? With the Restipaw® Enrichment Snuffle Mat, you can turn kibble or small dog treats into a search game where your dog uses its nose.
Make sniffing a pleasant moment
Dogs discover much of their environment with their noses. The various fabric shapes, folds, pockets, and hiding spots invite your dog to calmly search for the treats.
You decide how easy or challenging the search will be. Place the first pieces of kibble visibly on the mat and later hide them a little deeper among the fabric sections.
Why is it useful?
Searching with the nose — your dog has to locate the kibble or treats among the different shapes.
Multiple hiding spots — the flower, fabric strips, pockets, and cups offer various places to hide something tasty.
A fun indoor activity — useful for a simple search activity at home.
Reusable again and again — fill the mat in a different way each time to vary the search game.
Four colors — choose from blue, brown, green, or yellow.
How to use the snuffle mat
Lay the mat completely flat on a level surface. Distribute a few pieces of kibble or small dog treats over the mat and hide some among the fabric shapes.
Let your dog search under supervision. Start simply so that your dog understands what to do. Then you can gradually hide the treats a little deeper.
Variants and size
Colors: blue, brown, green, and yellow.
Size: approx. 48 × 48 cm.
The accent colors of the fabric parts vary depending on the chosen color variant.
Good to know
Use the snuffle mat indoors and always under supervision. The mat is intended for searching and sniffing, not as a chew toy.
Regularly check the mat for loose parts, wear, or damage. Stop using it if you notice any damage. Put the mat away after the search activity if your dog tries to chew on it.
