Is the food bowl already empty before you have properly looked?
The Restipaw® Slowfeeder distributes the food over playful ridges, so your dog has to work harder for every bite and stays busy with the meal for longer.
From hastily wolfing down to eating more calmly
Some dogs wolf down their meal in a few moments. A regular food bowl offers hardly any challenge. By distributing the food between the raised ridges, your dog cannot reach everything in one big bite. This makes eating a calmer and more engaging activity.
Why this slowfeeder is so handy
Encourages smaller bites — the maze structure makes it harder to take large amounts of food at once.
Keeps them busy with the meal for longer — your dog has to search for the food between the different ridges.
For different types of food — suitable for dry food, wet food, and suitable spreadable dog treats.
Can also be used as a lick mat — spread a suitable soft treat thinly over the structure for extra engagement.
Flexible silicone design — practical for daily use and easy to rinse clean.
How to use the slowfeeder
Distribute the usual amount of food evenly over the ridges. Let your dog get used to the new way of feeding gradually and start with a smaller amount if necessary. Place the slowfeeder on a flat surface and stay nearby while they eat.
Dry food, wet food, or a spreadable treat
Use the slowfeeder with the food that suits your dog. Kibble can be distributed between the ridges, while wet food or a suitable spreadable dog treat can be applied thinly over the surface. Always take your dog's normal diet and appropriate portion size into account.
